Sunday Club and Congregational Picnic

Yesterday (31st May) we held our annual Sunday Club and Congregational Picnic after the morning service at the village hall in Cannich. Around 35 of us travelled ‘up the Glen’ in unseasonably wet and windy weather, but we had a great time indoors in the spacious hall. The children played some games and made paper boats, which they then floated and ‘raced’ in a paddling pool under the cover of the front porch. We then enjoyed a barbeque lunch, which Adam Moore bravely cooked outside – cooking tongs in one hand and umbrella in the other! Many thanks to all who helped and contributed and to all those who came along and made it such an enjoyable time, despite the weather.
