Guatemala - Adopt-a-Child

Adopt-a-child is a Christian charity specialising in the establishment of food programmes in various countries, ensuring that thousands of very poor children receive two nourishing meals each week, while the Christian faith is taught in a simple and effective way to the children and their families.  Many folk from the congregation and district sponsor a child, principally in Guatemala, and we are able to send out gifts and extra money to the children when any of our members visit the country.  
 

Kolcatta - Nava Jeevan

We have developed links in India, under the banner of a charity called Nava Jeevan, with a little girls' home where the sisters look after girls from the poorest streets in the city.  Two of our members visit the home on a regular basis, usually with gifts of money from the congregation.
